Gardaí investigating Macroom service station break-in
The break-in at the Inver Service Station on the Millstreet Road took place on Thursday night
Gardaí are investigating a break-in at a service station in Macroom in which a sum of money is reported to have been taken.
The Inver Service Station on the Millstreet Road was targeted in the break-in during Thursday night.
In a statement published on its social media platform on Friday, management at the station said: “Unfortunately due to reasons outside our control, we must remain closed until Monday.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.”
No arrests have been made and garda investigations are continuing, according to a statement from the garda press office.
