Heavy rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning in parts of both Cork and Kerry.

Met Éireann have issued a status yellow rainfall warning for the two counties.

It comes into effect tonight from 10pm, and will remain in place until 8am tomorrow morning.

"Tonight and for a time on Wednesday morning, there will be heavy rain at higher elevations in Kerry and west Cork," the warning from Met Éireann states.
