Train services resume through Mallow station

Iarnród Éireann is advising that services have now resumed through Mallow station.
Services were suspended for a period following reports of a vehicle striking a railway bridge.
Commuters are advised however that the 8am Heuston/Cork service is operating approximately 30 minutes behind schedule.
Commuters are being advised that rail services are currently suspended through Mallow Station.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Iarnród Éireann said that the services had been suspended following reports of a vehicle striking a railway bridge.

Meanwhile, commuters are also being advised that Cork Commuter Area Programme works continue over this February Bank Holiday Weekend and that bus transfers and service alterations are in place in Cork to Midleton and Cobh from Friday until Monday and from Cork to Mallow from Saturday to Monday.
