Garda investigations are ongoing following an incident of assault in Glanmire on Sunday.

Garda investigations are ongoing following an assault in Glanmire yesterday evening. 

Three teenagers were taken to hospital following the incident for treatment of what were described as “non-life threatening injuries”.

The incident occurred in the Brooklodge Square area of the town.

A Garda spokesperson said:

“Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault which occurred in the Brooklodge Square area of Glanmire, Co. Cork, yesterday evening, Sunday 7th January 2024.

“A male and two females, all aged in their teens, were taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“Investigations are ongoing”.
