Cork duo James Leonard and Timmy Long have called time on their popular podcast The Two Norries after more than three years.

The podcast covers themes across the social and health spheres with a particular focus on addiction, drug use, crime and recovery.

Guests have included people’s personal stories of overcoming adversity as well as professionals’ perspective on issues discussed in the podcast.

In a post on social media today, the podcasters said that their final episode will give insight into the decision to end the podcast, as well as sharing some of the highlights from the recordings over the years.

“It's with mixed emotions that we welcome you to our final episode that will be released this Saturday.

“From the first chat to now our final podcast [it] has been an incredible journey, and it wouldn't have been the same without your support.

“In this farewell, we're diving into our favorite moments, our reasons for finishing up, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, and reflecting on the journey," they said.

The two thanked previous guests who have appeared on the podcast and their listeners.

“A massive shoutout to our phenomenal guests - your stories added magic to our podcast. Thank you for sharing your incredible journeys with us.

“To our listeners, your support has been our driving force, and we can't thank you enough for joining us on this part of our journey," they said.

“While it's goodbye for now, the memories we've created will stay with us."
