Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band are set to return to Páirc Uí Chaoimh next year. 

The Boss last played the Cork venue in 2013 and it has now been confirmed that he will return to play in the Páirc on May 16.

Tickets for the event will go on general sale next Monday, November 6 at 8am from Ticketmaster.ie

Springsteen will also play in Kilkenny, Dublin and Belfast next summer. 

The band will play Boucher Road in Belfast on May 9, Kilkenny's Nowlan Park on May 12 and Croke Park on May 19. 

The Cork concert will follow home Munster Senior Hurling Championship fixtures against Clare and Limerick at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. 

It is envisaged that and the pitch will be back in working order for a possible Munster Hurling Final on June 9. 

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band toured across Europe this past summer with the 2023 European tour selling ver 1.6 million tickets.

Highlights included a two-night kick-off in Barcelona as well as performances to over 130,000 fans across two dates in London's Hyde Park and a final night to over 70,000 in Monza, Italy.

Last month, Bruce Springsteen had to postpone a number of performances as he was treated for peptic ulcer disease.

 

The 73-year-old US singer-songwriter was due to play with The E Street Band for eight dates in the US last month, including in Pittsburgh and Washington.

But medical advisers had recommended he postpone the shows to focus on his health.
