Cork-based hotel group claims three HR awards

TRIGON HOTELS is celebrating three prestigious awards that recognise the dedication of its HR team and management.

Trigon, which includes The Metropole and Cork International hotels, was recognised at the first-ever Menopause Workplace of Excellence Awards.

The company also won bronze in the Investors in Diversity Awards, which review an organisation’s policies and how it ensures that team members understand diversity and inclusion.

The HR team was also announced as winners in the Best Workplace Diversity Strategy category at the recent HR Leadership and Management Awards.

Strategic director of HR at Trigon Hotels, Kathleen Linehan, said: “We have spent months reviewing and rewriting our handbook, developing and implementing new policies which were more inclusive to include our gender identity policy, menopause policy etc.

“We ensure there is equal pay and representation of women in senior leadership positions, and we are continuously providing inclusive training opportunities to all of our teams.”
