The Metropole Hotel, which is famous as the original home of the Cork Jazz Festival, is gearing up for the annual event.

The hotel will once again play host to a top range of diverse artists and music on several stages throughout the festival weekend at its famous Jazz Festival Club.

Roger Russell, General Manager at the hotel, said, “The Metropole is truly the heart and soul of the Jazz Festival, with it all starting here.

“We have four nights of jam packed jazz entertainment at the hotel, and we cannot wait to welcome people to the hotel over the jazz weekend.

“Fans of swing, funk, groove and blues will be well catered for, with an exciting mix of Irish and international acts at our Festival Club.”

A limited number of tickets are still available for Friday and Sunday evenings.

Tickets are €37.80 or €100 for a weekend pass, and dining options are available in the hotel during the day while jazz fans can enjoy an afternoon of live music free of charge across the weekend.
