Book of evidence being prepared in case against man accused of engaging in violent disorder

A book of evidence is being prepared in the case against a 32-year-old man accused of engaging in violent disorder in Cork city centre in March 2021.

David Burke of Mount Carmel, Glasheen Road, Cork, indicated at Cork District Court that a signed plea of guilty would not be entered in the case.

Judge Olann Kelleher adjourned the case to allow time for preparation of the book evidence, on the application of Sergeant Gearóid Davis.

The case relates to an alleged incident on March 2 2021 at Patrick Street, Cork.
