Man arrested and charged with stealing motorbike is told to stay out of Carrigaline 

The charges relate to Sunday last. 

A man who was arrested and charged with stealing and damaging a motorbike at the car park of Supervalu in Carrigaline at the weekend was released on the condition that he would stay out of Carrigaline.

Detective Garda Declan Healy arrested 32-year-old John O’Mahony of Cork Simon Community.

In the three charges brought against him, it is alleged that the accused took the motorbike without permission of owner at the carpark of Supervalu, Carrigaline, County Cork, caused criminal damage to the bike and stole Smirnoff shots valued €10 at Supervalu.

The charges relate to Sunday, September 10.

Det. Garda Healy applied to have the case against the accused adjourned until October 23 for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There was no prosecution objection to the accused being remanded on bail. 

Two conditions were attached to the bail. 

He is to stay out of Carrigaline and have no intoxicants.

Frank Buttimer solicitor was appointed to represent him on free legal aid after Judge Olann Kelleher was told that the accused was recently unemployed.
