Gardaí confiscate cannabis plants planted along city centre footbridge

Suspected cannabis plants that were planted along a city centre footbridge were removed by members of An Garda Siochana on Wednesday.

The Gardaí removed the suspected cannabis plants from Shandon footbridge along Popes Quay shortly before 6:30pm.

A spokesperson for the Gardaí said no arrests have been made but also said that investigations are ongoing.
