Crash on major Cork road causes tailbacks

Traffic exiting the South Link Road towards the Bandon Road roundabout in Cork.

Traffic is building on the South Ring Road after a collision.

The N40 is down to one lane westbound at Junction four, Sarsfield Road.

A Garda source has said at this early stage it would appear that there have been no significant injuries in the crash, but traffic is down to one lane.

Emergency services are currently at the scene.
