House fire being tackled in Douglas

Members of the public raised the alarm with Cork City Fire Service

MEMBERS of Cork City Fire Service are tackling a fire in Douglas.

The fire broke out in a house at around 5pm, prompting a number of calls to the fire service from members of the public who saw smoke in the area.

Two units of the fire service are currently at the scene.
