Planning application lodged to transform Cork pub into apartments

A planning application to transform a Cork pub into apartments has been lodged with Cork City Council.

Mark Ryan has lodged an application for the change of use of The Island Tavern from a pub to four one-bed apartments and all associated site works.

The pub is located on Military Road in St Luke's.

Cork City Council's planning department is due to make a decision regarding the development by April 13.
