Cork’s figure skaters roll with the best in Madrid

Led by head coach Liane Seiler, the team won eight Gold, two Silver and one Bronze medal.
Cork Figure Skating Association was established in 2011 when members of Cork Inline Figure Skating and the ice skating course in Cork on Ice joined together. The organisation is the first figure skating club in Munster, and the only inline figure skating in Ireland.
Inline figure skating is a rapidly growing sport that allows athletes to train and compete as figure skaters without the need for access to an ice rink.
Skaters from CFSA have competed in a number of international competitions, starting in 2014 with the Paris Open.
Liane Seiler, head coach, has since guided skaters through competitions in Toulouse, Rome and Madrid and two World Opens — Geneva and Milan and now Madrid.
