Cork busker Allie Sherlock wows audiences on the Ellen Show
Cork busker Allie Sherlock on the Ellen De Genres Show, where she received a standing ovation for a stunning cover of an Adele track.

Cork’s most famous busker has swapped Patrick’s St for California and made an appearance on one of the highest-profile TV shows in the world - The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Allie shot to online fame in the last year when clips of her singing covers of pop songs showcased her powerful voice and went viral.

She can often be found busking on Patrick St in Cork and Grafton St in Dublin, usually attracting huge crowds.

“When I saw a video of our next guest singing I knew I had to meet her,” Ellen said.

The host asked her to perform while on the show and Allie sang her own version of Adele’s 'A Million Years Ago.' She got a fantastic reaction from the audience to her song, getting a standing ovation before sitting down with Ellen and chatting about everything from busking to accents.
