THERE are fears that a teenage girl has suffered life-changing injuries after falling into a quarry during Ed Sheeran’s concert at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The 17-year-old fell into a steep quarry close to the concert ground on Saturday.

She was with a group of friends close to Cork Constitution’s Templehill ground.

She is currently being cared for in Cork University Hospital but her injuries are described as serious.

A second woman broke both legs in a fall near The Marina but is expected to make a full recovery.

The woman in her 20s attempted to climb out on to the roof of a warehouse in the search for the ideal listening spot to enjoy the Ed Sheeran show.

She fractured both legs in the fall from the second storey of the building.
