Luxury superyacht and cruise liner return to Cork

A luxury super yacht has docked in Cork with locals and celeb watchers keen to figure out who is on board the state-of-the-art vessel.

The 265.75ft custom motor yacht 'Air' was built in 2011 by Feadship and last refitted in 2017.

Air's interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 7 rooms, including a master suite.

It houses a VIP stateroom, four double cabins and one twin cabin.

The yacht is also capable of carrying up to 21 crew onboard and features an elevator, WiFi, deck jacuzzi, gym and its own helipad.

It arrived in Cork on Tuesday with celeb watchers on red alert keen to figure out who has chartered the luxury vessel.

Meanwhile, large cruise ship the ‘Independence of the Seas’ berthed in Cobh earlier today.

The gigantic ship is home to its own waterpark, a two story theater, an ice skating rink and a complete conference center.

On the Sports Deck, there is a rock climbing wall, the first ever trampolines at sea, a basketball/football court.

The cruise liner is set to depart Cobh at around 11pm tonight.
