Cork firefighters tackle truck fire near Carrigaline

The cabin of an articulated truck went up in flames today close to a petrol station in Carrigaline.

Two units of the Cork County Fire Brigade responded to a call out at 9.45am by the Maxol petrol station on Carr’s Hill close to the Shannonpark roundabout.

Fire trucks from Carrigaline and Crosshaven answered the call and Carrigaline was still there at 11am working on the fire.

Fire services confirmed there was no one in the truck as the blaze took hold and there are no reported injuries.
