Extensive traffic delays are being experienced on the N40 South Ring Road.

A two-car collision on the N40 South Ring Road has resulted in tailbacks on a number of feeder routes leading to the accident as well as long queues back along the N40.

The Dunkettle website said the N40 Kinsale Road to N25 Little Island would take 22 minutes, while the N40 Kinsale Road to Silversprings would take almost 30 minutes.

Anyone travelling from the N40 Kinsale Road to M8 Glanmire North would be in traffic for over 25 minutes.
