On Thursday, July 2, Rituals Cosmetics will open its doors to their first standalone store in Cork.

The brand, which retails body care products, scented candles, assorted teas, natural skincare and more, is currently sold in Brown Thomas but the Mahon Point store will be the company's first dedicated outlet in Cork.

"We are delighted to be opening in one of Cork’s best loved shopping centres, and believe that the new Rituals store will help the locals and visitors of this iconic city to enjoy life’s little moments after an unprecedented few months," commented Penny Grivea, UK & Ireland Managing Director of Rituals.
"We have worked hard to implement a host of measures to ensure our customers can enjoy our beautiful stores and interactive shopping experience, safely.

"We can’t wait to show shoppers all that Rituals has to offer and to continue to build our presence in Ireland," she continued.

The new store will open at 10am and the first 50 visitors will be given a luxury goodie bag.

In order to comply with social distancing, a limited number of customers will be allowed inside the store at any one given time.

The premises will also be sanitized regularly and card or contactless payment methods are encouraged.

The Rituals brand was founded 20 years ago, with the first store established on Amsterdam’s Kalverstraat, followed by openings in cities such as London, Madrid, Antwerp, Paris, Lisbon, Berlin, Stockholm and New York.

The luxury brand has over 730 stores, more than 2,150 shop-in-shops and four city spas in 29 countries worldwide.
