Gardaí make arrest after attempted burglary at English Market
 The English Market 

Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in relation to a attempted burglary at the English Market in March.

Shortly before 7am on March 6, a man entered a shop in the English Market and attempted to open the till. 

He was unsuccessful and left the scene moments later.

An investigation was carried out by Garda in Anglesea Street and a man, aged in his late 30s, was arrested yesterday.

He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged.

He is due to appear before Anglesea Street District Court today.
