Six McDonald’s Drive Thru restaurants in Cork have reopened.

The restaurants in Blackpool, Douglas Village, Ballyphehane, Ballincollig, Mallow and Midleton opened at 11am, and will remain open until 10pm this evening.

New measures have been put in place to help keep employees and customers safe.

The company says they are working closely with Gardaí, and have warned that it may be necessary to close Drive Thru lanes if queues cause disruption or put employees or customers at risk.

Customers spend will be capped for Drive Thru at €30 per order, and people are encouraged to pay by contactless payment methods.
