Unexpected outage in the city leaves over 1,000 without power

Over 1,000 ESB customers have been affected by a power cut on Centre Park Road.

The outage was reported at 11.50am and is expected to be restored by lunchtime.

A total of 1277 properties and premises are currently being affected by the loss of power.

ESB have apologised of the loss of supply and said they are currently working to repair the fault affecting the area.
