Sunny and dry weekend ahead for Cork

A sunny, dry weekend is being predicted by Met Eireann for Munster, with temperature highs of 21 degrees on Sunday to finish off the weekend.

Early in the week, Tuesday night will see a little patch of light rain, but by morning, the clouds are set to clear making way for fresh gusty winds on Wednesday.

Wednesday looks to be a drier day with sunny spells, although it is set to be a little cooler than recent days with highs of 16 to 18 degrees.

Thursday is to be dry and bright with clouds increasing through the day, patches of light rain or drizzle on the west coast, and highs of 15 or 16 degrees in a light to moderate southwesterly breeze.

Friday will see highs of 15 - 17 degrees although there will be a mixture of sunshine and showers.

The weekend looks dry, although a little cloudy. Saturday will see temperature highs of 15 to 18 degrees and on Sunday this will rise to 21 degrees.
