Coastguard rescues youths trapped at Fort Camden

The Coastguard were out on a routine exercise when their patrol boat was flagged down.

Four youths were rescued from Fort Camden by the Crosshaven Coastguard on Wednesday evening. 

The Coastguard was out on a routine exercise when their patrol boat was flagged down.

In a post on social media, they said the four young people had been cut off by the tide on Fort Camden. 

All four were recovered to the Coastguard boat and brought ashore at Royal Cork Yacht Club.
