TV sport round-up: FA Cup glory... and a host of GAA and golf

BLUE TIE: Manchester City and Chelsea meet at Wembley in the FA Cup

Soccer, golf, GAA, rugby... there is a wide variety of sporting action on the box this weekend.

The highlight is the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester City, which is on BBC1 and TNT Sports at 3pm on Saturday.

The live Premier League action kicks off with Aston Villa v Liverpool on Sky on Friday at 8pm. The channel then has a host of live games on Sunday, starting with Manchester United v Nottingham Forest at 12.30pm.

There are four games to choose from at 3pm - Brentford v Crystal Palace, Everton v Sunderland, Leeds United v Brighton, and Wolves v Fulham. The action continues with Newcastle United v West Ham at 5.30pm.

The live Premier League action on Sky resumes with Arsenal v Burnley on Monday at 8pm, then, on Tuesday, Bournemouth v Manchester City at 7.30pm, and Chelsea v Tottenham at 8pm.

Meanwhile, the Europa League Final between Aston Villa and German side Freiburg in Istanbul is on TNT Sports and Premier Sports at 8pm on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, the USPGA Championship golf major continues on Sky on Saturday and Sunday.

On the GAA front, there is a triple bill of matches on GAA+ on Saturday - Galway v Dublin in the hurling at 4.30pm, Down v Leitrim in football at 6pm, and Tipperary v Clare in the hurling at 7pm.

On Sunday, there is live coverage of Dublin v Westmeath in the Leinster Football Final from Croke Park on RTÉ2 at 2pm. Westmeath are chasing just their second ever provincial crown against the 63 times winners.

You can see the hurling tie between Limerick and Waterford on GAA+ on Sunday at 3pm, while the Ulster Football Final between Monaghan, chasing just their third provincial title since 1988, and Armagh, who last won it in 2008, is on RTÉ2 and BBC1 NI at 4.15pm.

Munster v Lions in the URC is on Premier Sports on Saturday at 7.45pm.
