It’s been 14 years since Cork won a Munster football title - and you have to go all the way back to 1995 for the last time they beat Kerry in Killarney in the final.

The Rebels will be aiming to end that hoodoo when they take on their old foe at Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday. It is live on RTÉ2 at 1.45pm.

Cork’s next Munster hurling game, in Waterford, is on GAA+ on Sunday at 6pm.

The other men’s GAA games this weekend are Wexford v Dublin in the Leinster Hurling Championship on Saturday on RTÉ2 at 4pm, and the Connacht Senior Football Final between Roscommon and Galway is at 4.15pm on RTÉ2 on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the sports world, after a second successive U.S Masters title, Rory McIlroy is on the hunt for more glory next week. The second major of the year, the USGPA Championship, tees off on Thursday, and you can follow the action live on Sky.

The venue, Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania, has only hosted the USPGA once, in 1962, when Gary Player won. The defending champion is Xander Schauffele while McIlroy - USPGA champion in 2012 and 2014 - also faces stiff rivalry from Scottie Scheffler and pal Shane Lowry.

There is a fine triple bill of matches in the Premier League on Saturday, starting with Liverpool v Chelsea on TNT Sports at 12.30pm. Sunderland v Manchester United is on Premier Sports at 3pm, followed by Manchester City v Brentford on Sky at 5.30pm.

There are three matches on Sky on Sunday at 2pm - Burnley v Aston Villa, Crystal Palace v Everton, and Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United. After that, the London derby between West Ham and Arsenal is on Sky at 4.30pm. The Monday game on the channel is Tottenham v Leeds United at 8pm.

In rugby, the URC game between Connacht and Munster on Saturday at 7.45pm is on TG4 and Premier Sports, while the Guinness Women’s Six Nations match between Ireland and Wales in Belfast is on RTÉ2 on Saturday at 6.30pm.
