A new TV series that promises to rip up the rulebook on celebrity interviews makes its bow on Virgin Media 1 on Monday.

In The Assembly Ireland, guests including Taoiseach Micheál Martin, Ryan Tubridy, Joanne McNally, and Rosie O’Donnell, face a panel of neurodivergent interviewers.

With facilitator Muireann O’Connell in their corner, they ask the questions no-one else dares. From raw truths to unexpected revelations, prepare for a series that dares to ask it all.

Among the interviewers is David Punch, a musician from Cork city.

Based on the international hit format from Can’t Stop Media, The Assembly Ireland is produced by Kite Entertainment for Virgin Media Television with support from Coimisiún na Meán’s Sound and Vision Funding Scheme.

The series premieres Monday, January 19 at 9pm on Virgin Media PLAY and Virgin Media One, continuing weekly for four episodes.
