Two teenagers from Dublin are given a glimpse into an entirely different lifestyle when they relocate to rural Cork, as returns for a new series tomorrow.
In the show, urban children, some of whom are in danger of going off the rails, are moved far from the bright lights to see if they can get a fresh view of life.
In the first episode of the new run on RTÉ1 tomorrow at 6.30pm, streetwise 14-year-old Noah, from Dublin’s North Inner City, is transplanted to the Collins’ family farm, in a remote spot near the village of Kealkill in West Cork.
Meanwhile, tetchy teen phone addict Teagan, of Balbriggan, turns 15 on the Morrissey’s dairy farm in the village of Aghada in East Cork.
The two teens face into a baffling new existence of no technology, no lie-ins, and no excuses as their village mentors strive to show them the value of hard work and co-operation in a small rural community.
But will Noah and Teagan find that being raised by a village gives them a new perspective on the world?
