Cork student features in My Uni Life TV documentary

THE documentary which gives an insight into life on our college campuses across a busy, eventful and emotional academic year, My Uni Life, returns for a second series next week.

The first episode on RTÉ1 on Friday, February 16 at 8pm includes a visit to the hallowed halls of our own UCC.

It is Freshers Week at the college, and we meet final year student Thérèse Keniry, who is already in rehearsals for UCC Choral Society’s Christmas concert.

Meanwhile, over in Maynooth University, we meet sports-mad Mary Kate Lynch, an All-Ireland winning footballer with the Meath Ladies Football team and stalwart of her university team.

The episode of My Uni Life next week also includes a visit to TCD.

Here, we meet security staff Niall and Paul, who introduce us to life on the Quad, and we hear from freshers who are joining the Afro-Caribbean and the Cumann na Gaeilge societies.

Finally, at DCU, the autism friendly university, Early Childhood Education student Matthew is entering his final year of college.
