Cathal and Karen Quigg with Baz Ashmawy in Best Place To Be

RESTAURANT owners Cathal and Karen Quigg, who moved to France from Cork, feature in the next episode of Best Place To Be on RTÉ1 on Tuesday at 7pm.

The siblings live in the middle of France and run their business on the banks of the River Creuse. Baz Ashmawy joins them and enjoys a trip to Boussac market and takes in the scenery the area has to offer on a leisurely cycle.

Baz also meets another couple in a similar area of France, who gave up their life in Galway to become farmers on a 300-acre site.

In their fifties, Emily and Declan Gardiner moved with their three children 17 years ago. Their children have since flown the nest but Declan and Emily remain living and working on the farm.
