The Club Women’s Network celebrates nomination as Social Enterprise of the Year

Members of the board of The Club Women’s Network celebrate after they were nominated for a Social Enterprise of the Year award.

The Club Women’s Network are celebrating, having been announced as one of the finalists for Social Enterprise of the Year at the Make Life Richer Awards.

Having only received designation as a Social Enterprise in late 2023, the board, committee and ambassadors of The Club are delighted with this recognition of the work the network has achieved to date.

The Make Life Richer Awards are run by Irish business Gym+Coffee to recognise and honour the contributions of those who work to build a community around the idea of “making life richer”, host events and meet-ups to bring people together and inspire people to lead fulfilling lives.

It is fitting for The Club to receive this nomination at this time of year as they kick off a series of events on April 23 at Kildare Village.

This will be followed, on April 30, by a morning panel discussion on ‘Money, Mindset and Marketing’ in The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis.

Finishing up this round of events will be an evening panel discussion on personal branding in Republic of Work on May 1. Building a supportive community for female founders to start, grow and stay in their business is at the heart of what The Club Women’s Network strives to achieve.

This becomes all the more important when you consider that Enterprise Ireland statistics show that only 34% of business owners in Ireland are female.
