Xeinadin, one of the leading professional service firms in Ireland and the UK, with a base in Cork, has announced that O’Rourke & Co, a Kerry-based cloud-accounting practice, will be joining its growing Irish team.

Founded in 2011, O’Rourke & Co specialises in cloud and digital accounting to support small and medium-sized businesses. Services include system design & migration to digital accounting platforms and, in addition, ongoing monthly support to clients, including management accounts, payroll, Vat, and year-end compliance.

They also support businesses navigating complex EU/UK expansion including Vat registration in other countries, cross-border selling, and OSS requirements. Many clients of O’Rourke & Co have experienced exceptional growth over recent years on the back of up-to-date financial data at the owners’ fingertips and access to quick technical advice from Seán and his team.

O’Rourke & Co have a strong client base, particularly in professional services, engineering, online retail, software, and medical services sectors. Their head office is in Killarney, and the firm also has an office presence in Cork. Going from strength to strength, the firm has doubled its headcount in the last five years.

Commenting on the announcement, Sandra Clarke, managing partner of Xeinadin Ireland, said: “Welcoming O’Rourke & Co to Xeinadin is another vital step forward in expanding our services in Ireland and the Munster region. Their digital expertise and strong reputation for building lasting client relationships were extremely attractive to us.”

Seán O’Rourke, founder of O’Rourke & Co, said: “Joining Xeinadin is a natural next step for our firm and our ambitious clients. What attracted us to Xeinadin was their ‘SME first’ approach and their investment in future cloud technology in Ireland and the UK, something that resonated with me in our discussions.

“By becoming part of Xeinadin, our clients retain the close working relationships they value while gaining access to a wider pool of experts and services across Ireland and the UK.”
