A GLORIOUS Cork Regatta is still being celebrated by clubs throughout Cork.

And all signs are good for Cork rowing, as we continue to celebrate a remarkable 2017 season.

There was a good share of honours among the Cork clubs, and the conditions were fantastic for rowing.

Great to see Cork rowing doing so well, considering Cork Regatta was part of the Grand League and drew competitors from all over Ireland. And particularly good to see junior rowing so strong in Cork.

UCD BC won the big title, men's senior eights, on the Sunday of the two day regatta, taking the prized Leader trophy back to the capital. They'll bring it back next year, and the battle to get it back to Cork will begin again.
