Irish consumers urged to claim €2,100 SEAI solar grant before it’s too late

The first phase of the Micro-generation Support Scheme was launched in December 2021, offering grants for Solar PV panels on domestic houses. In 2022, the maximum grant available was €2,400.
In December 2023, it was announced that the grant would be reduced annually by €300 until 2028. In January 2024, the grant was reduced as forecasted to €2,100 and is on track to being reduced to €1,800 for January 2025.
This means the time for solar is now. PV Generation are urging consumers to get in touch with them to apply for the domestic solar grant before 2025.
