Ulster centre Stuart McCloskey is set to miss the Challenge Cup final against Montpellier due to injury.

McCloskey has a hamstring injury, which the province expects will see him miss a number of weeks.

Ulster are also set to be without winger Jacob Stockdale, who has had surgery on a facial fracture he picked up in the semi-final win over Exeter.

They could also be without captain Iain Henderson, pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing, after the red card he received in the draw against Stormers in the URC.

Flanker David McCann is also racing to be fit for the trip to Bilbao due to a knee injury.

Rob Herring and centre James Hume are nearing a return to action from their respective calf and neck injuries.

Ulster take on Glasgow on Friday night in a crucial game for the URC play-offs.

The province is currently eighth in the table, and may need a result to secure their play-off place.
