Kerry won the Corn Pháidí Uí Shé after being crowned Munster football champions today.

David Clifford scored 1-6 as they came from behind to see off Cork in the decider by 1-23 to 1-15.

The trophy is named after the former Kerry great Páidí Ó Sé and was lifted by his son in law Paul Geaney.

Roscommon and Galway are facing off in the Connacht football final.

The Tribesmen lead 2-22 to 3-16 with Damien Comer putting the defending champions in control.

The first round of the Tailteann Cup threw up some big victories today.

Tipperary opened their account with a 0-17 to 1-12 win over Sligo.

Laois beat Wicklow by 1-23 to 0-19 and it has finished London 5-12 - Waterford 0-10.

Antrim outlasted Carlow after extra time to win a high scoring affair by 6-17 to 2-26.

Fermanagh came from behind to beat Longford 1-24 to 2-17.

Offaly and Kilkenny have played out a draw in the Leinster Hurling Championship.

The Cats had to battle back to rescue the point after the game finished 0-24 to 1-21.

Mikey Carey scored the goal for Kilkenny.

Dublin will play Kildare in the Leinster Ladies Football Final.

The Jackies saw off Meath today by 1-11 to 0-5 to book their place in the provincial decider.

Kerry will take on Waterford in the Munster final.

The Kingdom saw off Cork by 1-16 to 0-8 while the Deise bested Tipperary by 0-12 to 0-8.
