Michael Bolton

Clare will host Offaly in their first-ever Tailteann Cup tie after the draw for the first round was completed.

After Tipperary's defeat to Cork, they will travel to Sligo, while Wicklow will hope to bounce back from their narrow defeat to Dublin when they face Laois.

Leitrim will face a tough task, as they face one of Cavan, Westmeath, or Down, who will be the highest-ranked team.

If Westmeath and Down lose their provincial semi-finals, Westmeath will be in the Tailteann Cup.

If Down wins and Westmeath lose, Westmeath will be in the Tailteann Cup, but if Down and Westmeath both win, Cavan will drop down to the competition.

The eight winners in Round 1 shall be drawn to play against each other in Round 2A, with the first team drawn having Home Venue.

Round 2B will see the eight Losers in Round 1 drawn to play against each other, with the first team drawn having Home Venue.

In Round Three, the four losing teams from Round 2a will be drawn to play the four winning teams from Round 2b, and a draw will determine the home venue for each pairing.

Laois v Wicklow

Clare v Offaly
