Donegal are the National Football League Division 1 champions for just the second time in their history.

They were too good for All-Ireland champions Kerry, coming out on top in this afternoon's final by 3-20 to 2-10.

It also gives a measure of revenge to Jim McGuinness' side who lost Sam Maguire to the Kingdom last season.

Earlier, Meath were crowned Division 2 champions.

They had to come from behind to see off Cork in the final by 1-22 to 2-17.
