Donegal kept up their unbeaten run in Division 1 of the National Football League.

They had no problems against Armagh, coming out on top with a 1-20 to 0-19 win.

Meanwhile, Monaghan's search for a first win goes on.

They fell to a 2-30 to 2-11 loss at home to Mayo.

Kobe McDonald, son of Mayo great Ciaran, scored 1-4 off the bench in that game.

Kilkenny needed a late winner to see off Waterford in Division 1A of the National Hurling League.

Cian Kenny's free completed a comeback for the Cats who came away from Nowlan Park with a 1-21 to 1-20 victory.

Meanwhile, Galway have their first win of the year.

They were too good for Offaly and emerged as 2-23 to 0-18 winners.
