Friday's Airtiricty League of Ireland games have taken a hit due to the heavy rain in Dublin, with two games postponed.

Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers has been postponed after Tolka Park failed a pitch inspection.

It now means Shamrock Rovers are yet to play a game after their game against Dundalk was also postponed, which was meant to be played last week.

St Patrick’s Athletic and Galway United at Richmond Park have also been postponed after Richmond Park failed a pitch inspection.

No new dates have been announced for the two games.

After a pitch inspection was passed, Drogheda United v Waterford will go ahead at Sullivan & Lambe Park, and it is the live game on Virgin Media Two.

Kick-off is at 7:45 pm.

Derry City will be hoping to go two from two when they welcome Dundalk to the Ryan McBride Brandywell, where kick-off is at 7:45.
