Saturday Sport: Cork beat Tipperary in the National League, Arsenal go nine points clear

Cork have made it three wins from three in Division One A of the National Hurling League.
Ben O'Connor's side scored 18 points from play as they ran out 29-points to 22 winners against All-Ireland champions Tipperary in front of a record crowd of 30-thousand at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Both teams were reduced to 14 men just before half-time, with Tipp's Jason Forde and Cork's Shane Barrett shown red cards for contributing to a melee.
Wexford outscored Carlow by 11-points in the last 15 minutes as they beat their neighbours by 2-28 to 1-21 in Division One B.

Waterford have continued their winning start in Division One of the National Ladies Football League.
Lauren McGregor raised a green flag in their 1-10 to 8-points win over the All-Ireland champions Dublin.

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to nine points with a 3-0 victory at home to Sunderland.
Aston Villa dropped more points and stayed third after being held 1-1 at Bournemouth.
Fourth-placed Manchester United made it four wins from four under interim head coach Michael Carrick by getting past 10-man Tottenham 2-0.
Chelsea are fifth, having overcome bottom club Wolves 3-1.
West Ham won the big relegation clash 2-0 at Burnley and are now only 3 points from safety - and 8 above their hosts.
Jake O'Brien grabbed the winner as Everton came from behind to stun Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage before Newcastle's 3-2 defeat at home to Brentford.
Celtic needed extra time to get a 2-1 victory at home to Dundee and reach the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
The 42-time winners grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser at Parkhead.
Championship leaders Coventry failed to win again and were held 0-0 by second-from-bottom Oxford.

Ipswich climbed to third with a 2-1 success at Derby.
Rugby
Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend insists he will not be stepping down in the wake of their 18-15 loss at Italy in the Six Nations.
Townsend is set to depart his position after the World Cup, but he says his focus is now on trying to bounce back against England.
The win is a major boost for Italy ahead of their trip to Dublin to play Ireland next weekend.
England hammered Wales by 48 points to 7 this evening, with Henry Arundell scoring a hat-trick at Twickenham.
Ireland's under-20s have lost by 50 points to 21 at France in their tournament opener.
Winter Olympics
Ireland's Cormac Comerford says he's "really proud" to now be a Winter Olympian.
In his debut at the Games, the Dubliner was 34th in the men's downhill alpine skiing in Italy.
Comerford says it's been an "incredible feeling" to compete at the Olympics.
