UFC 325: Repeat or revenge as Alexander Volkanovski faces Diego Lopes
Michael Bolton
The featherweight title is on the line in the main event of UFC 325, as Alexander Volkanovski defends his belt against Diego Lopes.
The pair faced each other last April, with Volkanovski winning back his belt via decision.
Since then, the Australian fighter watched the division play out, with Lopes securing his rematch with his knockout of Jean Silva.

For Volkanovski, he will defend his title in his home country, as he knows the big nights like this are coming to an end.
One of the most well-rounded fighters in the sport, Volkanovski will use his boxing and grappling to keep Lopes guessing and put him on the back foot.
After some time away from the sport following back-to-back losses,
In his second term as champion, Volkanovski will make the most of his time with the belt and be smart not to get into a brawl with the Mexican fighter.
Lopes has the power to win through knockout, and will look for the perfect moment to land the blow to steal the title, in what should be an entertaining title fight.
In the co-main event of UFC 325 , Dan Hooker takes on Benoit-Saint Denis in the lightweight division.
Hooker comes into the fight after he was defeated by Arman Tsarukyan in November, and will hope to put himself back in title contention with a win on Saturday.
For Saint-Denis, he is on a three-fight winning streak after a successful 2025, with his last win a knockout victory over Benil Dariush in November.

A fight that will take place on the feet, neither fighter will be shy in throwing powerful punches, and will constantly look for the knockout.
In another big fight in the lightweight division, Rafael Fiziev faces Mauricio Ruffy.
After returning from a long-term injury last year, Fiziev ended a three-fight losing streak when he defeated Ignacio Bahamondes in June.
Ruffy's momentum was stopped when he lost to Saint-Denis in his last bout. Another technical striking battle, the winner could be in line for a big-name bout should they win convincingly.
