All eyes will be on the Aviva Stadium as Ireland take on South Africa in their final game of the Autumn Nations Series.

Ireland has won four of the last five meetings with the Springboks, including a pool-stage victory at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

That is underway at the Aviva Stadium from 5:40pm

Before that, Wales face a tough task when they host New Zealand at Cardiff from 3:10pm.

While at 8:10pm, Joe Schmidt's reign as Australia's head coach concludes with a test against France in Paris

Soccer

It has ended Burnley 0 Chelsea 2 in Saturday afternoon's lunchtime game in the Premier League.

Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez scored a goal in either half to clinch the win for the London side.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is concerned by a lack of match fitness throughout his squad.

GAA

The first of this weekend's Ulster club senior football semi-finals is down for decision this afternoon.

Last year's beaten finalists Kilcoo take on Fermanagh champions Erne Gaels at the Athletic Grounds from 4:30pm.

Waterford's De La Salle lead St Finbarr's of Cork by 1-9 to 2-5 in the Munster Senior Camogie final at Semple Stadium.

Golf

Seamus Power is bidding to close in on the top three on Day Three of the RSM Classic in Georgia later.

The Waterford golfer shot 66 yesterday to sit 10-under-par, six shots off the current leader, Andrew Novak.

He needs to at least be in contention by end of play on Sunday to secure his PGA tour card for next season.

Cricket

The Ireland men's cricketers require another 333 runs from their remaining four wickets to beat Bangladesh in their second test in Mirpur.

The tourists have 176 runs in their second innings at stumps on Day Four.

Play was briefly suspended yesterday, after a 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck capital city Dhaka.


Australia have taken a 1-0 lead in the Ashes - beating England by eight wickets in the first Test in Perth

Travis Head hit the second-fastest Ashes century from 69 balls to help his team to victory.
