Things ended all square across the board in the two League of Ireland fixtures on Friday evening.

It ended 1-1 between Galway United and Drogheda United.

Luke Henney put Drogheda ahead in the 49th minute, before Stephen Walsh equalised shortly afterwards in the 56th.

St Patrick's Athletic went ahead in the 40th minute thanks to Mason Melia.

Ryan Burke got things back level just before half time, securing a 1-1 draw for Waterford.

Sligo Rovers will play Cork City on Saturday evening from 7:45pm.

Then, league leaders Shamrock Rovers will go up against Derry City on Sunday from 3pm.

Bohemians will play Shelbourne from 4pm the same day.
