Shamrock Rovers have joined Cork City in next month's FAI Cup final.

Michael Noonan and Graham Burke scored two goals each as they overcame Kerry FC 6-1 in the semis at Tallaght Stadium.

However, Rovers will have to wait to be crowned SSE Airtricity League Premier Division champions.

Michael Duffy's late goal gave Derry City a 1-0 win at home to Sligo Rovers to prolong the title race.

Waterford moved three points clear of the relegation zone with a 2-0 victory against Drogheda United.
