Storm Amy: League of Ireland games postponed

Friday night's League of Ireland action has been postponed due to the poor weather from Storm Amy.
Derry City were set to host Sligo Rovers, where anything but a win for Derry would have given Shamrock Rovers the title.
However, the game at the Brandywell has been postponed.
“This decision has been taken in conjunction with DCSDC, PSNI, Irish Red Cross, and both clubs. The fixture will now take place on Sunday, October 5th at 4pm.
"All tickets for the original fixture will remain valid for the new date,” Derry City said on social media.
Waterford's game at home to Drogheda has also been postponed following a pitch inspection.
The First Division game between Treaty United and Longford Town has been postponed after Markets Field failed a pitch inspection this morning.
The game will now take place on Sunday.
In rugby, the URC game between Edinburgh and Ulster has been postponed due to weather conditions in Scotland.
Organisers say the fixture will be rescheduled for a later date.
