Shelbourne has been beaten 3-0 by Qarabağ FK in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round.

Goals for Qarabağ FK came from Leandro Andrade, Oleksii Kashchuk, and Nariman Akhundzade.

The two sides will meet again on July 30th.

Qarabağ FK scored early on in the game thanks to Leandro Andrade's goal in the 12th minute.

The Azerbaijan Premier League side had to wait quite a while for their next score, as the second goal came in the 81st minute from Oleksii Kashchuk.

Nariman Akhundzade added to the tally four minutes later to ensure a dominant win over Shelbourne.

In matters closer to home, the reigning Premier Division champions will come up against Sligo Rovers on August 2nd in the league.
