Louth have been crowned Leinster football champions for 2025.
They recorded a two-point win over Meath in the decider at Croke Park today.
Sam Mulroy scored 1-7 to give the Wee County their first provincial title since 1957.
Meath were already on the losing side today.
Their women's football team suffered a Leinster final defeat against Dublin.
The Dubs came out on top in that game by 2-13 to 1-12 at Croke Park.
Tailteann Cup
Round one of the Tailteann Cup came to a close this afternoon.
Sligo beat Tipperary 2-15 to 2-10 in Tubbercurry.
Westmeath opened their account with a Antrim 4-24 to 1-16 win over Antrim while Carlow edged Fermanagh to victory by 3-18 to 2-18.
Connacht women's football final
Galway have the bragging rights and the trophy after beating Mayo in the Connacht women's football final this afternoon.
Two first-half goals helped the Tribeswomen past their neighbours by 2-13 to 0-9 in Tuam Stadium.
Joe McDonagh Cup
Laois made it three wins out of three in the Joe McDonagh Cup this evening.
The O'Moore County took a massive step towards the final with a 5-28 to 1-21 win over Kerry.
Golf
Shane Lowry is in a tie for the lead ahead of the final round of the Truist Championship on the PGA Tour.
He shot a 4-under-par third round of 67 overnight in Philadelphia which leaves him 14-under all round alongside Sepp Straka.
Rory McIlroy is in a tie for sixth on 8-under-par.
Seamus Power is in a tie for 40th ahead of the final round of the Myrtle Beach Classic.
He'll resume from 4-under-par in South Carolina, nine shots off the lead.

Nottingham Forest missed the chance to climb back into the Premier League's top five after being held 2-2 at home to already-relegated Leicester.
Newcastle closed in on Champions League qualification, moving up to third with a 2-0 win against 10-man Chelsea.
Manchester United suffered a 2-0 defeat to West Ham at Old Trafford and it was the same for fellow Europa League finalists Tottenham against Crystal Palace.

The men's team of Conor Kelly, Cillin Greene, Christopher O'Donnell and Jack Raftery finished in 7th and will not progress to the Worlds.
